  • Oxycutting is very widespread, as it enables simple, clean cutting of unalloyed or low-alloy steels. These steels make up the largest tonnage of metals used. The equipment used can be simple and light 6 , even for cutting large thicknesses (200 to 300 mm) (figure 6 ), which further contributes to the spread of the process....
