6. Conclusion

The fate of nanomedicines in the body depends not only on their physical and chemical characteristics, but also on the tissue structures they encounter. Today, it is clear that a thorough understanding of physiology, histology, biochemistry and molecular biology mechanisms is inseparable from technological knowledge when it comes to developing effective nanomedicines. In the future, drug targeting with nanoparticles will become increasingly fine-tuned. Today, targeting cellular organelles is beginning to be explored as a means of further enhancing the efficacy and reducing the toxicity of active molecules. The fate of nanomedicines within the cell is being studied, and sometimes modified to serve the therapist's objectives even better. A major challenge remains, however, to produce these new drugs in an industrial environment with the quality criteria of the pharmaceutical industry, to evaluate...
