6. Conclusion
The fate of nanomedicines in the body depends not only on their physical and chemical characteristics, but also on the tissue structures they encounter. Today, it is clear that a thorough understanding of physiology, histology, biochemistry and molecular biology mechanisms is inseparable from technological knowledge when it comes to developing effective nanomedicines. In the future, drug targeting with nanoparticles will become increasingly fine-tuned. Today, targeting cellular organelles is beginning to be explored as a means of further enhancing the efficacy and reducing the toxicity of active molecules.
