Titanium dioxide crystalline forms; Formes cristallines du dioxyde de titane

Three forms: rutile, brookite and anatase. Rutile is the most stable because it is obtained at a higher temperature, brookite is formed at a lower temperature and anatase appears at an even lower temperature. The crystal system of rutile and anatase is tetragonal, while that of anatase is orthorhombic.

Genotoxic; genotoxic

A substance or radiation capable of inducing genome modification.

Leaching

Extraction of one or more elements using a solvent, usually water.
