1.1 Gaseous effluents

The most important gaseous effluents come from the process head operations: de-sheathing and dissolution. The treatment of these effluents is briefly described in the article (§ 5.4) . Vents from equipment used in other plant workshops are also treated and filtered before being released into the atmosphere.
