5. The European EPR concept

The European Pressurized Water Reactor (EPR) concept was developed jointly by French and German industrialists and electricians to meet the specifications of electricians in both countries, while satisfying the requirements of the French and German safety authorities (see article [BE 3 102] Pressurized Light Water Reactors. The EPR project.)

New proposals are made for the installation.

5.1 Four-train concept
