5. Future development

The techniques mentioned in this article are not exhaustive and represent only the most commonly used products in the warranty field.

To this should be added environmental measurements, analysis of samples taken around sensitive sites, expert laboratories...

However, with regard to the equipment presented, the trend is towards secure remote data transmission, so that the inspector no longer has to travel to a chosen site, or to reduce the frequency of inspections.

We are also seeing the emergence of advanced systems which, while retaining their own physical characteristics, enable information to be sent to headquarters either by satellite or telephone link. The rapid pace of technological development suggests that, in the very near future, these systems will be widely used by international control organizations....
