5. Conclusion

The prerequisite for the longevity of nuclear fission energy on the scale of a sustainable human population is the regeneration of spent fissile nuclei. Nuclear energy is favorably positioned relative to other renewable energy sources in terms of cost-benefit ratio if both factors are evaluated comprehensively and fairly.
