5. Above-ground storage safety

The Aube storage center (CSA) is used here as an example.

The radiological capacity, defined in the facility's authorization, sets the maximum storable activities for the main radionuclides contained in the waste. This is shown in table 3 (for other radionuclides, these values are supplemented by the technical requirements of the APF set by the French Nuclear Safety Authority).
