4. Other systems and equipment

In addition to the RCC for mechanical equipment, AFCEN publishes rules for electrical equipment, fuel and civil engineering. In addition, two other RCC have been drawn up, which are not public: the RCC-P and the RCC-I. The RCC-P relates to processes, and brings together rules on overall design, protection against external hazards, system design and installation, interface rules, safety classification, operating studies and protection against ionizing radiation. This RCC was drawn up for the 900, 1,300 and 1,400 MWe levels. It is no longer maintained, as the subjects it covers are assessed in the plant safety report.
