Whether the hydrogen is produced from fossil fuels or by water electrolysis, the average efficiency is around 70%. The efficiency of compressing and transporting the hydrogen must also be taken into account, resulting in a loss of around 10%. Finally, the efficiency of a fuel cell is around...
