5. Retain high photometric and energy qualities of lamps

Operators have three options for replacing incandescent lamps that are no longer available on the market.

  • High-efficiency halogen bulbs: these offer energy savings of 30% compared to traditional incandescent bulbs. For example, a 60 W incandescent bulb can be replaced by a 42 W halogen bulb.

  • Compact fluorescent lamps: they offer 80% energy savings and last 6 to 15 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs. A 60 W incandescent bulb can be replaced by a 13 W bulb.

  • LED lamps: they combine energy savings of up to 90% with a lifespan 10 to 30 times longer than incandescent lamps. A 60 W incandescent lamp can be replaced by an 8 W LED lamp.
