1.1 Climate change

The contemporary world is facing an unprecedented situation in terms of the paradoxes generated by the geopolitical, energy, climatic and health context, which has worsened significantly in recent years. The Swedish scientist and visionary Arrhenius (1859-1927) was probably one of the first to foresee and theorize the link between the massive use of hydrocarbons and climate disorder.

The theory of global warming was first put forward in 1896 by Svante August Arrhenius, pioneer of chemical kinetics and winner of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1903.
