2. State of the art

2.1 Benches

Industrial coolers, such as direct dry air coolers, are medium (1 MW) or large (up to 300 MW) capacity units, characterized mainly by their compact size, which requires on-site installation of the various components delivered disassembled.

Air coolers can be made up of a single unit for low and medium air flows (60 m 3 /s), or of several adjacent units for high air flows (up to 15,000 m 3 /s).
