1. General

1.1 Terminology

It uses the terms defined by the international standard ISO 6927, to which we have added :

• the terms defined by the SNJF (Syndicat National des Joints et Façades) standards and by the DTU 44-1 (DTU for document technique unifié) concern the caulking of facade joints and exterior construction joints, with the exception of glazing joints, which in France are covered by the DTU 39 standard, and non-standardized floor joints;

• mirror/glass joints (see [ ], § 5) ;

• some other general terms or terms relating to other special joints.
