1. Criteria for choosing a parquet floor

The term "parquet" is reserved for any wood or wood-based floor covering with a wood facing and a wear layer of a minimum thickness to enable renovation. By convention, this wear layer is, at all points, :

  • 2 mm minimum wood thickness for all factory-finished or factory-sanded elements;

  • 2.5 mm of wood minimum for all rough factory-sanded elements.
