2. Steps in the process

2.1 Definition of lighting requirements

This stage is essential in our approach, as it sets the ultimate limits for energy savings. What's more, defining the need is already mastering it.

It can be defined in three stages.

  • Defining the functional nature of installations

    This involves specifying the priority functions of the lighting (safety (see and be seen), aesthetic, attractive, festive, etc.), the nature of the environment to be illuminated (road axis (and of what type), pedestrian walkway, square, monument, etc.), the spatial zone to be illuminated and the priority lighting schedule.
