4. Urban lighting technologies

The sources used for city lighting must meet performance requirements in terms of :

• long-lasting electrical and photometric performance;

• resistance to corrosion, urban pollution and vandalism;

• mechanical, thermal and hygrometric resistance to the harsh climatic conditions of the urban environment;

• optimized energy consumption and maintenance costs.
