8. Evacuation network

8.1 Evacuation study

This study must comply with standards NF EN 12056-1 to 5 and satisfy the initial principle of healthy housing, which is to rapidly evacuate wastewater without leaving any residue.

An evacuation must have several qualities:

• sufficient cross-sectional area of the discharge pipe for rapid fluid flow;

• the choice of pipe material according to the type of fluid to be conveyed;

• a seal to prevent odors from entering homes;

• low-noise installation (soundproofing).
