1. Definitions. Terminology

Figure 1 shows an example of sealing. It allows us to define the main terms used in this article.

• On flat roofs and other roofs :

  • a load-bearing element, usually concrete for flat roofs, or chipboard for pitched roofs on houses, or steel panels for prefabricated plants and buildings;
