3.1 Objectives

The role of the "concrete production" function is to reproduce, with instantaneous consistency (homogeneity) and over time (stability), a concrete mix that exactly matches the theoretical mix described by the formulation. The objective of quality control is:

• to ensure that all actions are directed toward this goal;

• to ensure that the entire process goes as planned;

• to notify the plant operator as soon as an anomaly occurs in the production cycle, before it becomes a non-conformity;
