4. Steel construction steels defined by standards

The basic standard for structural steel is NF EN 10025 (in draft), in 6 parts, which will replace NF EN 10025 (1993 version), NF EN 10113 (the 3 parts) and NF EN 10137 (parts 1 and 2; part 3 is cancelled) and NF EN 10155. A distinction is made between :

  • Part 1, which defines the general technical delivery conditions for hot-rolled structural steel products;

  • Part 2, which defines the technical delivery conditions for hot-rolled products in non-alloy structural steels;

  • Part 3, which defines the technical delivery conditions for hot-rolled products made of fine-grained weldable structural steels delivered in the normalized condition or after normalizing rolling;

  • Part 4, which defines the technical delivery conditions for hot-rolled products made...
