5. Conclusion

For several millennia, terracotta products have accompanied mankind in the continuous improvement of its living conditions, appreciating both their intrinsic qualities and their aesthetic appeal.

Recently, environmental challenges have emerged that could compromise the long-term use of terracotta products. It takes a lot of energy to produce terracotta, and this generates greenhouse gases. On the other hand, high durability is achieved at the same time, so annual grey energy remains limited.

In general, energy savings and the use of renewable energies will be promoted in all new investments. To meet new demands in their use, different products will be able to respond in different ways.
