ACV – Analyse du cycle de vie (LCA – Life Cycle Assessment or Life Cycle Analysis)

Methodology for the global assessment of the pressure of the system studied on resources and the environment throughout its life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials to its end-of-life treatment.

AMF – Angle des microfibrilles de cellulose (MFA microfibril angle in the wood cell)

Inclination of crystalline cellulose in the S2 layer of the cell wall in relation to the longitudinal direction of the cell. This is an essential determinant of wood quality.
