2. Unique port context

The unique nature of the port and maritime sector in the broadest sense of the term means that the management of port facilities has to be structured and organized in a specific way. As a result, the organization of port facility management must take into account the following specificities:

  • the complexity of the works and structures ;

  • operating modes and functionalities;

  • a highly aggressive port (and more generally maritime) environment;
