1.1 The challenges of digitizing the building industry for integrated design

The use of IT tools for building design has developed with the introduction of drawing tools (CAD) and simulation tools dedicated to the various trades and, in particular, for :

  • building energy ;

  • life cycle analysis ;

  • acoustic studies ;
