2. Site preparation

2.1 Staff

When a new building site is awarded, the construction company appoints a site manager to be in charge of its construction. This may be (depending on the size of the site) :

  • the company director in the case of a craft business;

  • a site manager ;

  • a site supervisor ;

  • or even a site manager.

  • For very large building projects, a large team of supervisors comes on site.

  • For small sites, there is no permanent on-site supervision.
