The partnership contract is thus a specific legal and financial tool for carrying out global projects in all sectors of activity. This contractual model retains all its relevance for involving the private sector in the realization of public investments, and creating jobs in the service of projects that are useful to the community.

It has also found its place alongside other contractual arrangements (design-build contracts, global performance contracts, sector-specific global contracts).

The incorporation of the texts governing partnership contracts into the Public Procurement Code in 2019 has unquestionably improved the readability of the subject, which remains marked by a certain complexity.
