3.1.1 Full powdering (often mistakenly called implosion)

In the French "foudroyage intégral à la française" method, the building is collapsed in on itself using a burst of rapid fire, after significant mechanical lightening of the blasted levels in horizontal bands (mechanical demolition of staircases, partitions and part of the load-bearing walls), leaving only the trumeaux pillars to be mined.
