2. Amicable expertise

2.1 Designation

If, for example, in the context of a construction contract, the parties wish to resort to an amicable expert appraisal, they will have to choose an expert together.

It can also be the contract (between the client and the company, or between the company and the subcontractor) which stipulates that, in the event of a dispute, an expert will be called in, whose identity may be specified in the contract.
