7. 35 cm hard limestone (density ≥ 2,500 kg/m3)

At the quarry, or in official documents, these limestones are classed as n° 9 or n° 10 in terms of hardness.

The coefficient of linear expansion α is 0.7 · 10 –5 per °C and the modulus of elasticity E is 190,000 kg/cm 2 .
