The new national seismic legislation of 2010 consists of two general decrees and several orders dealing with seismic design rules applicable to different types of civil engineering structures:
buildings (new and existing) ;
decks (new only) ;
equipment (pipes, piping, silos, tanks, tall and slender structures, etc.);
facilities classified for environmental protection (ICPE), etc.
