6. Glossary

Concrete

A formwork panel is a formwork tool used to build vertical walls. In building and civil engineering, formworks are used to form concrete walls. This is known as formwork concrete.

Sail

It's a vertical wall, generally made of concrete, molded using formwork.

Sewing steels

Seam steels are used to join two different pieces of reinforcement together.

Prestressed concrete

This is a composite construction material into which stresses (cables) opposite to those to which it will be subjected are introduced prior to commissioning.
