2. Storage of liquefied hydrocarbons (commercial butane and propane)

2.1 Types of storage concerned (GZ 4)

Storage facilities for liquefied hydrocarbons, whether in use or not, whether in fixed or mobile containers as defined, must be fitted out in accordance with the provisions of this section.

We understand by :

  • mobile containers (cylinders or containers): containers which are filled outside their storage location in specialized depots. This category of containers includes both bottles, which can be moved by hand, and containers, which can only be moved by handling equipment;
