1. General

1.1 Scope of application (CH 1)

The provisions of this article are designed to prevent the risk of fire breaking out, developing and spreading, as well as the risk of explosion, from heating, ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning, steam and hot water production installations located in premises that may or may not be accessible to the public.

These provisions apply to :

• heating ;

• ventilation, air conditioning and climate control ;

• domestic hot water production and distribution ;

• refrigeration (production, transport and use of cold).
