4. Requirements for existing assembly huts

4.1 Scope of application (article REF 40)

Existing mountain refuges where the number of people admitted equals or exceeds the thresholds set in article REF 3 (section 1.3) are subject to the provisions of this section.

In the event that some of the following provisions cannot be applied for technical or architectural reasons, appropriate compensatory measures may be implemented by the manager or operator after consultation with the Safety Commission, in compliance with the overall minimum level of safety defined in this section.
