In addition to the general provisions for establishments open to the public (ERP), special rules must be applied to PE-type establishments (fifth-category establishments), depending on the number of people admitted. These rules concern, among other things

  • technical provisions relating to clearances ;

  • cooking equipment ;

  • heating and ventilation systems;

  • storage and use of hydrocarbons;

  • smoke extraction ;

  • rescue resources ;

  • additional rules for establishments with sleeping quarters.
