5. Transport and handling of formwork equipment for vertical carriers

5.1 Criteria

Transport and handling of formwork on the site are defined according to the following criteria:

• weight per square metre of each formwork category ;

• special design features (folding railings, size of protruding elements, etc.) ;

• type of handling envisaged: isolated formwork, train of formwork, facing formwork;

• load handled by the crane ;

• equipment required: sling ropes, spreader bar, spreader bar.
