2.1 Plain or traditional canal tile
This type of tile must comply with standard NF P31-305 July 1985 (terracotta canal tile).
It does not (geometrically) have its own attachment system. It can be either :
simply placed on a continuous or discontinuous support;
sealed to the substrate ;
fixed with hooks that connect each tile to the previous one and secure them to their support.
