Today, the conservation of earthen architectural heritage is closely linked to the development of international tourism, which generates considerable economic spin-offs in terms of foreign currency. However, we need to ensure that these spin-offs are genuinely beneficial to the local population and to the heritage itself, by creating the conditions to guarantee the "sustainable" development of this new industry.
