 INTRODUCTION

Waterproofing of flat roofs with no technical features can be carried out using a variety of materials, such as bitumen or asphalt, as these are simple waterproofing systems with no other function than to ensure the roof's impermeability.

On the other hand, when technical elements such as cooling or heating units are installed, the waterproofing must take account of these puncturing elements. The same applies to all other equipment or materials that are to be installed on the flat roof or hung on the upstands.
