2.1 General
White concrete brings added value to the world of construction through more aesthetic and qualitative applications that transform architecture.
The whiteness of cement is due to the maximum reduction of coloring minerals in the raw materials used and to a specific manufacturing process.
Most of the characteristics of light-colored concretes do not differ from those of ordinary concretes. All concretes intended to remain visible must be homogeneous and aesthetically pleasing.
This category includes cast-in-place concretes, prefabricated concretes produced on site or in factories, concretes without formwork, and treated concretes.
