4. Liquid waterproofing systems (SEL)
4.1 Composition
These are liquid or pasty products that are applied like a coating, in varying thicknesses, by roller or spray, to the substrate or insulation covered with suitable protection, and then dry and polymerize to form a solid, watertight and protective film, sufficiently elastic to withstand dimensional variations in the substrate and materials to which it is applied, and thick enough to provide a seal (figure 10 ).
