1. VEC curtain wall

VEC stands for "external glazing". This technique is not covered by product standard NF EN 13830, nor by DTU 33.1 (see Part 1). Designs must therefore be the subject of an Avis Technique Européen, or an Atex (Appréciation Technique Experimentale) from the CSTB. In France, the design must comply with Cahier du CSTB N° 3488 (§ 2 ).
