3.1 Instructions
The size of the plot and the environment determine the type of individual sanitation system to be installed.
Wastewater from an ANC system should preferably be discharged through the soil in place: discharge into the surface water environment (ditch, watercourse, etc.) is only authorized by the local council if a soil survey of the plot (compulsory for new-builds and renovations) shows that no other solution is possible.
