4. Plastic materials

These petrochemical products are playing an increasingly important role in the construction industry, thanks to their low density, ease of handling and processing, and excellent chemical and electrical resistance.

These are extremely diverse products, which have only their basic elements in common: carbon and hydrogen. Their rational use requires great care, as their qualities can be extremely altered by conditions of use or the presence of additives.
