10. Inverter-powered machine

10.1 Problem definition

We consider an inverter-controlled induction motor with six on/off controllable elements (transistors, GTOs, etc.), placed in antiparallel with a diode. We won't go into detail here, referring the reader to other articles (e.g. [3] and [4] ).
