CMOS technology; complementary metal-oxide semiconductor

This is the most widespread integration technology on silicon.

Tension de référence; reference voltage

Voltage setpoint of the voltage regulator giving the output voltage target.

Compensator

Also known as a compensation filter, this is the stage responsible for modifying the converter's dynamic behavior, within the closed-loop control.

Pulse-width modulation; pulse-width modulation

Stage responsible for transforming a control voltage into a switch control signal. The stage operates at a fixed frequency, which becomes the inverter's switching frequency.
