2.1 Objectives and specifics of EMC-oriented power electronics simulation

The objectives assigned to EMC simulation in power electronics are threefold:

  • represent the evolution of the converter's temporal quantities in order to highlight either high-frequency parasitic regimes that are therefore easily coupled, or overstress in the structure's components (overvoltages or overcurrents), the aim being to be able to minimize them right from the design stage;
