4. Conclusion

This dossier presents the different digital solutions used today to implement control algorithms for electrical machines. The aim is to clarify the advantages and disadvantages of each digital solution, using specific illustrative examples: the digital implementation of PWM techniques and the speed control of a synchronous machine. Digital hardware solutions are not yet the industry standard, despite their many advantages. The following [D 2 902] dossier extends the discussion, focusing on control algorithms.
