3. Conclusion

The various formulations presented in this article can be used, in the vast majority of cases, to evaluate the impedance of electrical connections used in power electronics. As these expressions are obtained analytically, they are stable to parameter variations and therefore have a wide range of validity. This makes them particularly interesting for use in design processes.

Like many modeling techniques, it can be useful to discretize the conductors in order to obtain accurate modeling. However, this technique can also be used without any meshing, giving less accurate but still acceptable results.

The article presents the use of software tools implementing these methods.
